This treatment uses targeted light energy to breakdown excess pigmentation, such as freckles or age spots, or blood vessels in the skin.
Laser/IPL for Pigmentation and Vascular Removal Overview
Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) are used for pigmentation and vascular issues by using focused beams of light to target and treat pigment irregularities in the skin, such as freckles, sun damage, and age spots) and blood vessels causing redness. It is a form of selective photothermolysis where light energy is converted into heat, destroying the targeted pigment or blood vessel without damaging the surrounding tissue.
Pigmentation and Vascular Removal treatments using Laser and IPL are entirely safe, although it is essential to prep the skin and follow pre- and post-care protocols. They can be used on any part of body and are suitable for different skin types while maintain efficacy. Multiple treatments may be needed to see desired results.
