ACHW is excited to announce the release of three new ACHW Short Courses into our existing set of courses. 

Due to rising training demands in the industry, these new courses have been created to offer students valuable skills and targeted training in cosmetic tattooing, chemical peels and skin needling, and the science of cosmetic product formulation. 

Offered through a blend of online and in-clinic practicals, students will embark on new ways to bring these skills back to their work, meeting evolving needs of the health science and dermal therapy industry. 

These three courses are available through our online learning platform and clinics in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast, with first delivery in October. 

• Foundations for Cosmetic Tattooing (Brows) 
  This self-paced online + 1-day practical course is a comprehensive introduction to the art and science of cosmetic tattooing with a focus on eyebrow enhancement. Gain hands-on expertise of brow mapping, shaping, and the use of professional machines with essential hygiene practices.
• Chemical Peels and Skin Needling 
  This self-paced (2-4 hours) online course is a thorough online training program that helps students perform chemical peels and skin needling treatments in a manner that is safe, effective, and compliant with growing regulations.  
• Introduction to Skin Product Formulations 
  This 1-day course will equip you with all the knowledge and practical skills required to formulate skincare products with direct practical guidance and context on the regulations that impact the industry. Build your expertise to confidently create your own complete cosmetic product, achieving appropriate texture and stability. 

Consumer demands for more advanced skincare and cosmetics is rising, putting pressure on the industry to seek the training to provide more advanced services. It is often hard for clinicians to find the time or money to engage in this training though, and that is why ACHW Short Courses were made: an effective and affordable training solution made specifically for the skincare industry. 

These three short courses will complement and expand on the three short courses that ACHW launched in June of 2025.
